Didn’t go just stayed home.
Kids brought some sausage and blooming onion for us!
10$ for a sausage and 12$ for the onion.
Neither were very good glad I stayed home!!!!

Mornin' (afternoon? evening?...) peeps. Sorry been away from here for a bit. Not able to keep popping the lonely Vermonters thread too much lately. Been busy before too much heat and humidity kick in, and something / I don't know, somthing about this site (not the VT page) just seemed to irk me lately and had to keep away for a while.

Anyway, today's funny - was passing by Handy's / St Albans. Decided to stop in to see about getting the two pieces for when I get around to the rear diff breather mod. Sorry, but had to actually snort out a little laugh when he told me the union was $26. Told him "that's steep, never mind". Didn't feel like getting into it that you could find to order for like $9. I mean, come on it's a basic two inch tube with threads at one end?!

I apparently haven't been there inside in quite a while either (intentionally). The "old" parts counter is now pretty much the St Albans Car Rental counter. There's a little door bell on a post you have to find and ring to get a parts guy to come out from the back room. That setup at a dealership just feels like uggghhh. It's like Vermonters try to out-Vermont other Vermonters sometimes. (yes I'm fairly pissed about VT at the moment too with some other 'tihs' going on...)



Anybody see the northern lights this weekend? It seemed all cloudy the couple times I woke up for other stuff, so no go... and I ain't driving for just that either..... like an Eclipster lol.

Temps into the 80's coming up on Monday / Tuesday I already miss the snow... Really need to mow for the first time yet

 

Just remembered we had this on one of our cameras from right before the leaves came in some days ago. This is me midday too (sleepy) when it is over 80 degrees lol

 

I would be interested in those bed bars (assuming 2 pieces?)

I couldn't be much farther away and still be in VT (South of Exit 1 on I95 ;-)

Mornin. Slow drippy rain already, gonna be another "moist" day lol. And now they are showing 86 for wednesday.. oof. The froggies and weeds will be happy.

Must.... Kill.... Knotweed....

 

Used the Taco to haul an old round oak dining table off to the second hand store. (hospice benefit)
Then "gardening", tractor chipper to reduce the size of the "stick pile". This winter brought down a lot. Planted onion sets. Took a 5 mile bicycle ride, did not encounter a single motor vehicle. Did pass by a couple of equestrians letting the horses graze just off the roadway. Supper on the back deck, with a fire in the pit. Though cloudy, a great day!

 

Missed the Northern Lights, but sky had a pink hue behind the cloud cover. Lights in St. Albans and where we are situated didn't allow for a clear view.

 

I’m in St A also maybe we will see each other around.
Not many inferno’s around I’m easy to spot!
