Should have test drove a slightly used truck. That's what I did when there isn't a new truck available to test drive.

If its 2023, you can sell it . It will sale for good price and buy older Tacoma.. Issues you listed like wiper/washer fluid, climate control, and door not locking is faulty and you should go to your dealer about it..

I'm in self imposed exile, but since you ask, that was about the messiest that project got.
I got nervous every time I powered things up with the cover off (oscilloscope being repaired) since wet noses and over 16k volts don't mix. Not for very long, anyway. He had to be in the middle of it.
Tripod: inoperable cancer on his hock. doing well. He's a trooper.
Table etc: first real piece of furniture I bought a couple houses ago. It was old then, part of why I liked it. Thought about replacing it several times but nah, other priorities. When cleaned up, nobody complains even though it really is very out of place, style wise. function over form.

 

Its probably actually Friday somewhere.
