Eh, the ABS in my truck is way too eager to engage prior to lock up. Someone pulled out in front of me and it almost killed me by engaging prematurely. Also did it on an uphill off-ramp just with normal smooth slow braking.

What kind of front spring rate/length is everyone running? I’ve been on 600’s but always thought it might have been a little too much. And now I have a bunch of weight gone from the front. Considering a 500lb.

    I don’t hate my ABS?

Do a lot of city commuting and 75mph to 0 during rush hour, but it hasn’t tried to kill me?

My front end is pretty minimal.
I’m still on 16x600. Camberg gives an option of 18x500 for my kit. When I had talked to accu tune a while ago they recommended I stay with the 16x600.
I’ve never had an issue that I’d attribute to too-high a spring rate. Maybe if you most do lots of crawling I could see going low spring rate ? Better flex from IFS that way.

How much preload on the nut? Mine is up as far as it will go before it hits the fitting.

    I love my 18” 500 too.
When I first drove it fast in some scraggly rocky trails I couldn’t wipe the smile off my face. No slouch in the flex department when I’m crawling for sure.

I am putting in a sway bar now since the body roll can get a little excessive on road and sketchy on side hills.

Getting updated weights front and rear in a couple days so I’ll post when I do.

    I need help.

Got my tundra booster installed, but they didn’t ship me the master cylinder. I took the sequoia master cylinder from original Tacoma booster and took the adapter plate and extension off, and bolted it up to the tundra booster. Tried bleeding the brakes tonight and the most I get is a dribbling from all 4 corners, and my pedal is still very soft and just goes to the floor. Idk what’s going on lol.

Is the push rod / push rod adapter from the booster engaging the master fully?

I orginally had Wicked creation spec coilovers and ended up with a DK kit. WC has a 2" longer rod end and 16" 650"... doesn't work with DK kit, sat at full droop after install. DK helped me out, had me go to a 1" rod end and the 550lb. Rides good on road and off road. havnt noticed any excessive sway without sway bars.

I’m not sure. I pulled the adapter off the master since it was designed for the Tacoma boosted

Yeah I read through the whole thing. I have the correct booster. I got the extension rod for the pedal linkage and that fit perfect.

my MC is supposedly a sequoia MC, from sos performance. I bought it to go on my Tacoma booster when I did the disc conversion. I took it off the Tacoma booster, removed the adapter plate, removed the rod adapter, and bolted it to the tundra booster and here we are

I have the same SOS set up too and i’ve been stock piling the parts for the tundra booster swap too so i’m really curious what the issue is ? From what you are describing it seems like your master is not the right one because it sounds like the rod is not plunging into the master enough ?

@DG92071 do you have any insight ?

The last 1/4” of travel of the pedal feels like a normal pedal but everything else Is just loose. I think you’re right.
