New member looking to purchase my first Tacoma. Advice appreciated

that visible part is replaceable. extreme terrain has them for $150 for the pair, pre-drilled for the backup sensors, pre-painted in army green.

but the concern here isn't going to be the visible damage, but if there's any significant damage to the fiberglass-reinforced bumper assembly behind that cover-- it tends to crumble at major impacts, leaving you without a bumper assembly for that visible part to attach to.

Going to look at a 2022 in Barcelona Red tomorrow. Need to see what that looks like in person. I really do like that Army green though. Looked nice in person.

2022 Sport, Long bed, premium tech package, leather, moon roof, Barcelona red metallic. 18,000 miles. Super clean in/out/under.
Drove it home and it’s safely in my driveway.

$42K. Pricey, yes but that’s what they’ve been getting in my area. This was super clean though. Plus it had a nice tonneau cover and was pretty well loaded with options.

 

In 2 years you won't remember anyways, you will just be happy you got the truck, options, and color that you wanted.
