In an attempt to get the best mpg possible out of my truck (I'm not and off-roader), I studied the gains possible with a front air dam then designed and built my own, seeing that none could be found for my 2nd gen. I know many folks hate and remove them. To each his own.

What gains did you calculate and what are you experiencing?

@trdo-r, My apologies for the very late response, but I was waiting until I actually had a noticeable difference to report.
Truthfully, I can't say that it has made any noticeable difference. I think it needs to be more like 7 to 9ish inches tall, rather than the 5 inches tall I was able to initially build. I have thought about altering it but havent pursued it yet.
However, I do suspect that it had a minor influence in my recent mpg effort, which recently posted about called, "Fuel Mileage. " Check that out to see what you think.

@RA77 Good follow up. I must say though, that picture of your ride has to be the cutest face on a vehicle that I've ever seen! It even looks like it has ears, next to the squinty eyeballs I'm also looking at it on my small phone, without touching/expanding it full view. But he sure looks like hes not in the mood for anybodies bull crap! Let him know you are proud of his gains, so he smiles a little
