Anchor In X-member

These anchors do not depend on bolt strength to transfer loads into the frame. Could have made them out of steel but it would have added a lot of weight. The eyelet is 6061 T-6 forged aluminum - 1.0 thick with 15/16 hole for a 3/4 shackle. Careful fitment allows no movement in the crossmember.

  • Forged 6061 T-6 Aluminum x 1.0 thick. Will fail at 36,000 pounds - so it is good for whatever the x-member can withstand. Doesn't rely on the bolted fasteners for strength.
