20210905 - Rear Cat

The original goal was to replace my rusty muffler with a catback. Unfortunately during the exhaust work I had done in 2015 they cut off the flanges and welded everything together. This setup is no longer serviceable unless you can weld pipes.

I have a JBA cat back ordered, so I'm beginning to think about how it will connect with the rest of the system. I believe the JBA catback uses a flat flange, which may not be compatible with the OEM style flanges that use ring gaskets.

It seems like my options are welding a new flange right after the cat, or just buy a new rear cat so that everything can bolt together without any fuss. Prefer having a bolt together OEM-style exhaust so it's more easily serviceable.
